A cookie stores a small value used by a website or provider. A cache keeps a copy of a file so it can load again more quickly. Clearing one does not always clear the other.
Cookies used on this site today
- tos_notice: first-party cookie set when you close the site notice, stored for about 180 days.
- WordPress: cookies for signed-in administration and the contact-form security token.
- Cloudflare: security or delivery cookies that the network may set independently.
The contact form also uses a server-side rate limit that is not stored as a browser cookie.
Advertising cookies
Google advertising cookies are not loaded on this website at present. If AdSense or similar services are added, advertising cookies may help select, measure and personalise ads, subject to law and, for personalised ads in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent platform. This page is not that platform. See the Privacy Policy and Google’s partner-sites notice.
Caching
The origin server, Cloudflare and your browser can cache public pages and images. A cached copy can briefly look older than an edit. Reload the page if something looks stale. The contact page is sent with no-cache headers so the form token stays current.
Your controls
Use browser site settings to inspect or delete cookies for travelonstay.com. Blocking optional cookies should not stop you reading public articles. For Google ad personalisation, if ads are later enabled, use My Ad Center. Questions can go through Contact Us.
